The approach to implementing the design code has been revised based on the opinions expressed: the interests of entrepreneurs are of primary importance.

❗️After constructive, including critical, feedback was received, the approach to covering the changes in the appearance of city streets and explaining the design code requirements to entrepreneurs was revised.

➡️The main focus was placed on open dialogue, conveying information in a clear manner, and considering emerging issues on an individual basis.

❔From May 11 to July 26 of this year, the work on implementing the design code covered 3,228 business entities on 56 streets of the capital. In order to study the opinions of entrepreneurs directly affected by the changes, the Tashkent City Administration conducted a survey in cooperation with the territorial department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

🔝The results of the feedback showed that in some cases the requirements, the procedure for processing documents, and the sequence of works to be performed were not explained in a timely and sufficiently clear manner. These remarks were found to be justified and were taken into account in further work.

🏢To date, 509 entrepreneurs have renovated the facades of their buildings, and another 2,627 are completing the related work. The remaining issues will be considered individually together with the district administrations and responsible organizations.

✔️In addition, with the participation of experts from “Toshkent Invest Kompaniyasi” JSC, the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights, and the Digital Development Department under the Tashkent City Administration, the qualifications of specialists from 18 advertising and manufacturing companies were improved.

🧑‍💻Our task is not simply to bring facades into compliance with uniform requirements, but to organize this process in a clear and fair manner for entrepreneurs. The design code should improve the appearance of our capital without creating unjustified difficulties for business.
